Quick delivery, good wine

Ordered a mixed wine club. Arrived on time. The wines were good. No issues. I would order again.

Good wine, delivery could improve

I got the mixed wine club to try out Firstleaf. The personalization algorithm seems to work pretty well; I enjoyed most of the red and white wines they sent. The quality felt good for the price point, especially with the introductory offer. My only real gripe was the delivery. While the wines arrived intact, the tracking info wasn't always up-to-date, and one box sat at a distribution center for a day longer than expected. It wasn't a huge deal, but better transparency there would be nice. Customer service was responsive when I had a question about my next shipment, so that was a plus. Overall, a solid experience but not perfect.

Detailed delivery and wine notes

I placed an order for their curated fine wine collection, focusing on some Italian Reds. The ordering process was straightforward on the website. I appreciated the estimated delivery date provided during checkout. The box arrived via FedEx, requiring a signature, which was good for a wine delivery. Inside, each bottle was individually protected, and they included tasting cards for each wine, which was a nice touch for understanding the flavor profiles and pairings. I'd say the quality of the Italian Reds was quite good, matching the descriptions. One bottle had a slightly different vintage than listed online, but it wasn't an issue. Overall, a well-managed service.

Great value on first order

I was looking for a good deal on wine and saw the offer for 6 bottles for 40 dollars. Decided to try Firstleaf. It felt like a really good value for money, especially with the free shipping on that first order. The wines were decent, better than I expected for the price. I rated them to get a more personalized selection for my next box. For someone on a budget, that introductory offer was certainly worth it.

So happy with my wines!

Oh my goodness, I just received my first Firstleaf box and I am so excited! I ordered the mixed wine club and every single bottle looks amazing. I particularly loved the look of the Pinot Noir they included. The packaging was super secure, and everything arrived perfectly. I can't wait to try these wines this weekend. I'm definitely going to keep this subscription going and tell my friends about it!

Consistent quality over time

This was my fifth box from Firstleaf, and they've been consistently good. I started with the red wine club and then switched to a mixed club after a few shipments. Their selection process for my palate has really improved over time as I've rated more wines. This time I got some excellent Cabernet Sauvignons and a surprisingly good Malbec. It's reliable, and I know what to expect. They occasionally send a bottle that isn't quite my style, but that's part of the fun of trying new things. I keep coming back because the convenience and quality are there.

How does Firstleaf compare to Winc? I've been with Winc for a bit but kinda wanna switch it up.

A Adam J. 4 days ago
I tried both. Firstleaf's personalization felt more accurate for me, after a few boxes the wines were really hitting my preferences. Winc was okay, but I had more misses.

Winc is decent but Firstleaf felt like they had a better selection of actual 'award-winning' wines if that matters to you. Plus, the intro deal is usually better with Firstleaf.

Can you actually skip shipments if you're drowning in wine or need to save some cash one month?

Z Zach A. 1 week ago
Totally. I've skipped a couple of times. You just go into your account settings and pick 'skip shipment' or something similar. Super easy, no hassle.

Yup, no problem skipping. I think you can even change how often they send them, like every 2 months instead of every month, if you want to space it out.

Do I have to be home to sign for the wine deliveries? I work all day and don't want it just sitting on my porch.

R Ryan Lopez 1 week ago
Yep, someone 21+ has to sign for it. They won't just leave it. I usually get mine delivered to my office or I schedule it for a day I'm home.

They definitely require a signature. If you're not there, they'll try again or hold it at a local pickup spot sometimes. Better to have someone 21+ available.

Hey, thinking about trying Firstleaf. Is that intro deal for 6 bottles really legit, like how much does it usually end up costing?

O Olivia J. 2 weeks ago
Yeah, it's pretty good. I got my first box for like $40 total, free shipping too. It was a good way to test it out without spending a ton.

Mine was around the same. You get 6 bottles for what would normally be maybe half their price, roughly. It's only for new members though.
